Doug Powell

Equal parts plate-spinner and Swiss Army knife, Doug Powell never knows how to answer the question, “What do you do?” As a novelist, he has created the Graham Eliot series of biblical archaeological thrillers. As a Christian Apologist with a MA from Biola University, he has authored over a dozen books, contributed to several study Bibles, and speaks on a variety of topics. As a graduate of the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum’s Shroud Studies post-grad certificate program, he is a speaker on the Shroud of Turin. As a recording artist, he has released eight solo records and one as a member of supergroup Swag. As a songwriter, he has contributed to two Alan Parsons albums. He has also worked as an art director, web designer, app programmer, and college professor.

NEW FROM DOUG POWELL:

The Big Book of Bible Questions

GRAHAM ELIOT SERIES

Enter the fascinating world of biblical archaeology where fragments of the New Testament are found in mummy masks, a cloth in Spain has stains that match the face of the Shroud of Turin, a shaft is cut into the ice cap at the peak of Mount Ararat to reach a manmade object, where the mountain of Moses has an altar covered in petroglyphs of calves in Saudi Arabia, where forbidden tunnels hide beneath the Temple Mount, and where New Testament manuscripts contain invisible text. The locations are real. The facts and histories are true. The adventures are historical treasure hunts. Follow Graham Eliot in his quest for evidence and truth as he wrestles with faith, grief, and the problem of evil.
